Soap came out softer than I'm used to

This is the first time I've used pre mixed oils to make my soap. I'm no expert soap maker but I think I know what I'm doing since I've made a few batches of great soap.

I entered the ratios into my soap app and measured my lye and hydrosol exactly.

Considering other reviews indicated the mixture started to set really quick, I actually had plenty of time before it started to thicken, the problem for me was that I didn't have my molds ready so it started to thicken as I was fumbling through my box of molds.

Usually, I can remove my soap from the molds after 24 hours, I let this set for 48 hours and the soap was still very soft, much softer than I'm used to. I do use tallow for my other soaps so that may be why they're harder than this batch.

The overall process was quite easy and the soap has a nice lather.

New to this

This is the first time I am doing any type of soapmaking so I could be totally off. I do love the oils though I love the combination of the oils and I cannot wait to be able to use this product to make the soap that I've been wanting for so long. It came as a very good amount of product for the price so I know you're getting a value for your money on that. I bought some lie to go along with it so that I can get the process started and I'm very excited about the scent mostly because I can change it to whatever I want because I have essential oils galore.

Awesome Product

This product definitely makes the cold/hot process soap making easy. I wasn't sure of the lye to water mix and customer service was quick and precise with response. I will be buying again. If you want to make soap with ease of measuring, this is your product.Thank you Pifito WR

1st Time to Make Soap-Great

It said Cold Process Soap but I did Hot Process. I used frozen Cucumber and Aloe to mix my lye then added it to my soap in the croc pot. I also added some essential oils. I used a stick blender and brought it to trace. It did trace quick but I did Hot Process so I turned up the heat to medium approximately 140/150. Put on lid and let it cook about 30mins until it became glossy. I only stirred once because my pot was heating hotter on one side than the other. I had no issue getting it in the mold. Maybe because it was hotter than a Cold Process. I cut it about 12hrs later. It was cool and easy. I am letting sit a week to see if it gets a little harder. Washed hair and body and I love it. Will biy again. Made it so much easier. I would not do cold process because it does trace and set quickly. I prefer hot anyway. What is 30 more mins opposed to waiting 6wks to saponify. I used it the next night. Only thing is I don’t know if it is the fats or me using cucumber/aloe water for lye because my lye didn’t get above 100°. But the soap lather was nice and my hair and body felt soft. Will buy again. May try the #2 mix.
