If you want to make soap using all the oils in the Mix (the full 60 oz) :
- Input to Soap Lye Calculator the total weight of oils as 60 oz. Include all oils listed in the ingredients on the Oils Mix, with their respective percentages.
- Click to calculate the amount of water and lye to add.
- Shake Oils Mix pouch well and pour the complete mix.
- Follow the normal soap making process, by adding the lye and water solution according to calculation. Add fragrance, color and additives as desired.
If you want to make soap using only some of the oils from your Mix (not the complete mix):
- Input to Soap Lye Calculator your total weight of oils you plan to use (for example 30 oz). Include all oils listed in the ingredients on the Oils Mix, with their respective percentages.
- Click to calculate the amount of water and lye to add.
- Then add only your indicated total weight of oils you want to use from the Oils Mix. Make sure to shake the pouch well before pouring in part of the oil mixture.
- Follow the normal soap making process, by adding the lye and water solution according to calculation. Add fragrance, color and additives as desired.
